Community Guidelines

1. Respect Others

Respect is the foundation of a thriving community. Treat others with kindness, regardless of their background, experience, or role. Healthy debates are welcome, but personal attacks, toxic behavior, and inflammatory remarks are not.

2. No Harassment or Bullying

Harassment, bullying, hate speech, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes derogatory remarks, threats, and targeted abuse based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, or other characteristics.

3. Keep it Family-Friendly

StarGuild is a family-friendly platform. Do not post, share, or promote content that includes:

• Explicit language or imagery
• Violence or graphic content
• Illegal substances, activities, or discussions
• Sexual or adult themes

When in doubt, err on the side of caution or consult a moderator.

4. No Spamming

Keep the community organized and enjoyable for everyone. Avoid:

• Spamming repetitive or irrelevant messages
• Excessive self-promotion or unsolicited advertisements
• Disrupting discussions with off-topic comments or trolling

Promotions must follow community rules and be posted in designated areas, if applicable.

5. Respect Privacy

Respect the privacy of all members. Do not share:

• Personal information about yourself or others without explicit consent
• Private conversations or communications without permission
• Sensitive information such as addresses, financial details, or account credentials

6. Respect Intellectual Property

All content shared on StarGuild must respect copyright laws and intellectual property rights. Do not post or distribute:

• Pirated content or software
• Unlicensed media, such as music, movies, or games
• Assets from Star Citizen or other sources without proper attribution or permission

7. Adhere to Star Citizen's Terms of Service

StarGuild is an extension of your Star Citizen experience. As such, all members must comply with the official Star Citizen Terms of Service and Code of Conduct. Violations of their rules are also violations here.

8. Use Features Responsibly

StarGuild offers tools like messaging, profile comments, and content sharing. These features are intended to enhance collaboration and engagement. Misuse of these tools, including spreading misinformation, harassment, or disruptive behavior, is strictly prohibited.

9. Report Violations

If you witness behavior or content that violates these guidelines, report it to the StarGuild moderation team using the platform's reporting tools. Our team will review reports promptly and take appropriate action.

10. Moderation Decisions are Final

Moderators and admins are here to ensure the community remains safe and enjoyable. Their decisions are made with the community's best interests in mind. Repeated challenges to their actions may result in further penalties.
